Chelsea has become The Premier League 09/10 champion after they had defeated Wigan Athletic 8-0 yesterday. Chelsea has an amazing season. They scored 1o3 goals this season which is a terrific success. Didier Drogba, an Ivory Coast striker, has become The Premier League top scorer with 29 goals this season and completed his hat-trick in this game. Manager Carlo Ancelotti says Chelsea's Barclay Premier League title triumph is just the start of a new era. Carlo Ancelotti has done an excellent job in his first year with Chelsea. Ancelotti has brought Chelsea's pride back after Jose Murinho had done it in 2004-2006. The League champion still has The F.A. Cup final against Portsmouth next week. If they win the cup, It'll be their second trophy in this season. Everyone thinks that F.A Cup should be easy for Chelsea, if they play like the game against Wigan Athletic.

ReplyDeleteI don't know too much about English football. My father was a big Arsenal fan, but I grew up with Australian football. However, one thing I know from 10-year-old son (he's a Man U. fan) is that Chelsea is called "Chelski" because it is owned by Russians and nearly every player is from a foreign country. Well done Chelsea, but I can't help feeling that soccer is a bit corrupt because it is all about money, money, money. Also, the game looks a bit soft to me. Every time the players get hit, they fall over and act like 5-year-old girls.
